Tasting Note
Dancong tea undergoes a roasting process, giving it a distinct roasted aroma and a sweet scent reminiscent of baked sweet potatoes. When consumed, it offers a rich, sweet, and full-bodied flavor, with the honey-like sweetness lingering in the mouth for a long time. After swallowing, the thick tea liquor leaves a lasting sweetness


Brewing Tips
Phoenix Dan Cong tea is typically highly aromatic and is best brewed using a lidded bowl. Use about 10 grams of dry tea and brew it with boiling water at 100°C. Use the lid to scrape off any foam that floats to the surface. The first infusion is for washing the tea and is not meant for drinking; pour it out immediately after adding water. The second infusion should last 20 seconds, the third for 30 seconds, and subsequent infusions as desired. Due to the robust veins of Phoenix Dan Cong tea leaves, they are highly resistant to brewing, allowing for 45-50 infusions if brewed as Gongfu tea.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
